أعلنت رابطة الدوري الإنجليزي عن وجود 112 حالة كورونا إيجابية جديدة، وذلك من خلال استراتيجيتها بإجراء التحاليل الأسبوعية واسعة الانتشار.
وتم اختبار 3507 لاعبين و66 إداريا من مختلف الفرق المشاركة في الدوري الإنجليزي وكأس الاتحاد الإنجليزي خلال إجازة نهاية الأسبوع، وسيتم إجراء تحاليل للفرق الستة التي لم تشارك قبل مبارياتها القادمة.
ومن المنتظر أن تقام اليوم مباراتان ضمن مسابقة كأس الاتحاد الإنجليزي وهما:
ليفربول ضد أستون فيلا.
وولفرهامبتون ضد كريستال بالاس.
وتقام المباراتين في تمام العاشرة إلا ربع مساء بتوقيت القاهرة.
